Build a Career in Commercial HVAC and Plumbing

Interstate AC is hiring licensed technicians, plumbers, apprentices, and project managers across Middle Tennessee. Real commercial equipment, steady work, and a team that invests in you.

Why Interstate AC

For 20+ years, Interstate AC has set the standard in Nashville’s commercial and industrial HVAC and plumbing industry, taking on the toughest challenges and delivering top-tier service.

But it is not just about the work we do. It is about how we do it. We operate with a culture that combines the highest standards of performance with a down-to-earth, supportive environment.

Many of our leaders have decades of experience in this industry and know what it is like to be in your shoes. They are not just managers, they are mentors who care about your growth. With their support, you have the resources to thrive professionally and personally.

The Work Is Commercial and Industrial. Only.

Interstate AC specializes in commercial and industrial services, meaning technicians here work on the mechanical systems that keep Middle Tennessee businesses operating.

That means commercial HVAC equipment across every major brand: packaged rooftop units, chillers and cooling towers, boilers, air handling units, VRF, and building automation. It means commercial plumbing infrastructure: backflow prevention, hydro jetting, process piping, large-diameter work, and gas fitting. And it means construction projects ranging from tenant improvements to ground-up builds with general contractors across the region.

For experienced technicians, that variety is the draw. You are diagnosing complex systems in data centers, hospitals, manufacturing plants, and high-rise office buildings, not swapping condensers in driveways.

Who We Are Hiring

We are consistently looking for qualified people in:

  • HVAC service technicians, commercial and industrial, all experience levels
  • Licensed plumbers and pipefitters
  • Apprentices and helpers entering the trades
  • Construction field crews and foremen
  • Project managers and account managers
  • Building automation and controls technicians
  • Dispatch, warehouse, and administrative support

Continuous Learning, Endless Opportunities

When our employees grow, we all grow. That is why we started our Career Advancement Program. Our in-house educational program for the commercial and industrial HVAC and plumbing trades is a fully accredited program, meaning the credits you receive follow you anywhere your career takes you.

Through hands-on training, expert-led courses, and real-world application, our Career Advancement Program gives you the knowledge to take on more complex projects and stay ahead in a field that keeps changing. Whether you want to master new technology or move into a leadership role, the program is built to support the whole career, not just the current job.

We also offer non-accredited specialized classes for our teams to dive deeper into trade-specific topics and continue their education through our Interstate University.

Your Future Starts at a Great Place to Work

Safety Is Not a Slogan Here
