Case Study: HVAC Installation for Fifth Third Bank Conversion

HVAC Installation for Fifth Third Bank Conversion

Our construction team recently completed the full HVAC installation for a Fifth Third Bank renovation in White House, TN. As part of this tenant improvement project, we handled all aspects of the HVAC system, ensuring a comfortable and efficient environment for both employees and customers.

Above the ceiling, a complex network of ductwork, ventilation, and system controls keeps the space running smoothly. But to the tenants, it’s just a ceiling. Our team takes care of the behind-the-scenes work so businesses don’t have to think about it, delivering reliable HVAC solutions without disruption.

The project was completed in less than six months, on time and on budget.

Project Overview

Fifth Third Bank’s new White House, TN, location was undergoing a major transformation, converting an existing building into a fully functional bank branch. As part of this tenant improvement construction project, Interstate AC was brought in to replace the existing outdated equipment with a high-quality HVAC system that would ensure comfort and efficiency throughout the space.

The Challenge

Converting a non-bank building into a Fifth Third Bank required a seamless HVAC installation that would integrate with the newly designed infrastructure while minimizing disruption. The new system needed to provide reliable heating and cooling for employee offices, customer areas, and support spaces, all while fitting within the project timeline.

The Solution

Interstate AC installed a complete HVAC system to meet the bank’s needs. This included:

Ductwork and Ventilation

A complex network of ducts was installed above the ceiling, ensuring efficient airflow throughout the space while remaining out of sight.

Rooftop Units and Crane Lifts

Three Carrier packaged rooftop units (RTUs) were installed to provide reliable climate control. The project involved three separate crane lifts, coordinated with Hampton Cranes: one to remove old equipment from the roof, one to set the roof curbs, and one to place the new RTUs.

Efficient Installation

Our team coordinated closely with the general contractor, Marand Builders, to complete the installation without causing any disruptions to the renovation process.

The Results

Thanks to careful planning and execution, the HVAC installation was completed in about seven months from conception to completion. The new system delivers reliable heating and cooling, creating a comfortable environment for both employees and customers.
